Bahlsen, the most successful German pastry manufacturer, has been in operation for over 125 years since Hermann Bahlsen founded the "Hannover Cake Factory H. Bahlsen" with only 10 employees. As a family-owned company headquartered in Hannover, it employs nearly 3,000 people in the group. Its baked goods, produced at six European locations (four in Germany and two in Poland), are distributed to over 55 countries. The production sites are located in Barsinghausen, Varel, Berlin, Schneverdingen, Skawina (Poland), and Jawornik (Poland). The well-known main brands include Bahlsen, Leibnitz, Pick up, and Brandt. The product range includes seasonal pastries such as gingerbread, as well as waffles, cakes, sweet snacks, chips, chocolates, nuts, trail mix, and cookie and fruit bars. All products are offered at up to 30% off at the factory outlet in Göttingen. Additionally, damaged goods are reduced by up to 50%.
